Headphones Not Working

Hello and happy Sunday to you all.

I just reinstalled the Ubuntu 10.10 OS and I have run into a problem. My headphone jack does not work on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, I plug in the headphones and receive no sound from them.

I looked through the forums and it seems like this is a semi common problem, but with a lot of different solutions. So before I open up my terminal and start entering a lot of random commands. I figured that it would be best if I just started a new thread to see if there is a specific answer to my problem for Toshiba Satellite laptops running Maverick Meerkat. Any help with this problem is very much appreciated.

I found the solution to the problem. If anyone is having issues with their headphone jack not working, go to this website, follow the directions step by step, and reboot.
