How do i change back to 2d

    Hey.
Im a not very skilled ubuntu user, so always confused with new upgrades...

i was using 2d, but then i changed the loginsetup, not to show the login screen on startup... then it started directly up in ubuntu classic.

How can i make it startup directly in 2d?

    Kind Regards, Rune

Log-off, choose your desired session and log back on. Next restart will get you on the new session.

Yes, select your desired environment from the login screen.
    Linux: Just GNU it.

    No.
There is no login screen when i start up, i disabled it. I can logout, and log in to Unity session, but on restart, it goes back to classic...?

It helps if you tell us what version of Ubuntu you are using. As you mention Ubuntu Classic and as that is not available in 11.10, I assume that you are on 11.04.

Open System Settings. Load up the Login Screen utility and unlock it to get access and from the drop down menu select 2D as the default setting. Provided that you still have Unity 2D installed. If it is not in the list, try to re-install it.

    Regards.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
