    how to back up terminal commands ?

    Hello All

    I wonder if there is a directory for a terminal commands that may i can back up the commands i have used in the terminal before .

    when you open terminal press the up cursor key and it will cycle through your previous commands.

    if you type history it will show you your command history.

    it is stored in a hidden file in

    /home/<username>/.bash_history

    where username is a placeholder for the user etc

    So , if i copy .bash_history and paste it to other pc , when i go to terminal and scroll up i will find my commands ?

    yep. as long as as you put it in the correct location yes it will
