twitter/gnome do

I can't get validated with twitter on gnome do. I input the correct username/password, and it continues to read "validation failed". I have karmic on my laptop, and it works fine. For some unknown reason, I can't get it validated on my desktop computer. I have tried being logged in to twitter while trying to validate on gnome do; no dice. I didn't do anything different on my laptop as far as getting validated, so, I am out of troubleshooting ideas. Can anyone help??
