any update on how to use canon lbp-1210 in 10.04?

hi,

i know this post should be directed to canon but i am wondering if any have already successfully printed using their canon laser shot lbp-1210?

the most recent post i have read was dated back in 2009.

hope you can post some step by step process for me.

i have tried the existing instructions by raducotescu and some others but i was not able to print successfully.

hmmm, so far I managed to print on any HP printer from any linux, but not any other printers, so have doubt all will be that simple, but hope someone else will give you some better advise.

search for capt drivers!

i've configured my LBP2900, and i've made it work perfectly on 9.10 and 10.04 64bit machines.

you'd need ubuntu-restricted-extras to get them working!

i still cannot find a way to get canon's lbp-1210 running properly. now i have 12.04.

i understand that this is a really old laser printer being one of the first model to utilise the new usb2.0 during the days... hehehe
