Autocad 2000

Hi,

I am having problems loading autocad 2000 onto my laptop (dell latitude E4300) using ubuntu 11.04.

I have tryed with wine and also playonlinux,

I keep getting a error message "wrong os...." I have tred to configure wine so laptop is running as windows 98 but it does not seem to change. Any ideas?

autocad is one of those that causes issues I think from memory

Well hopefully someone who can help will see it. If you had it working previously then I would guess you'll get some help. However Wine is not a cure all and sometimes windows software just doesn't work.

If you are not using it for 'work' perhaps look at one of the Linux cad applications.

I don't use wine nor any windows softwares I'm afraid.
