    help with adsl

I wanted to split adsl line, but a friend of mine explained that this isn't possible.. So now my question is that can you somehow switch ethernet back to dsl or have a computer convert it so that nothing has to be done to the other modem.. Possible?

well i think you want to share your bandwidth in all your computers right ?? you can do it by assign static IP in all your computers with QoS, to do that check the link below::

You are both assuming that i want to share lan connection, but it's impossible with only 2 wires (without the other one noticing). What i would like to create has one adsl modem and attached to it something that reverses the effect that adsl modem does.. So that i could plug my computer to the modem and i'd have internet working. And from the 'mystery box' wires to my neighbour who has adsl modem at his end too. =sharing if you will

If you are trying to steal your neighbor's adsl service, it not only isn't possible, but you wouldn't get help on that here.
