I am using ubuntu 10.10 I have a toshiba satellite A105-s2712 Im trying to get the s-video output to tv to work. I have tried the Monitors applaction but no good. Also i have tried Fn + F5 witch changes the screen i know this works because the vga out works. But all i get is a flicker every now and then. I know that it has an intel gpu but no luck finding any thing. The sooner i find this out the sooner the kids can watch there shows again.

Hmm, all I can think of is running the dmesg command right after it flickers.

    Code:
    dmesg
Post the output of that, right after the screen flickers. It may give us some more info.

Re: Toshiba Satellite S-video not working

Now that you've upgraded, try looking for drivers in 'Additional Drivers'.

In GNOME, it's under System>Administration>Additional Drivers.
In Unity, just search for it using the new app launcher.
