    What mouse to buy?

    Hey!

I am looking for a mouse to buy for my laptop... I am on Ubuntu 11.04.

I wish for a bluetooth one, but I don't know if Ubuntu works fine with that.

Could you indicate a mouse for me? A good one, however, not an overpriced mouse (like $ 200 lol) - I am human.

Also, the mouse must be rechargeable... I bought one once that I had to buy new batteries every 4~5 days (it sucks).

    Thanks

I had be using bluetooth and non-cable mouses for years, but I just got tired of charging batteries every weeks.

I'd recommend you a Logitech one, they are really good.

I have an HP with its own (tiny)USB transmitter. The battery life is excellent using 2 AAA.

Yes... I saw some mouse that we don't actually have to stop using it for recharging... It is an internal battery that can be rechargeable while using, via USB. That is the IDEAL I think.

It is not a bluetooth mouse, right?
As far as I know, those you don't need a transmitter (If the laptop has the bluetooth technology)...

That is why you can recharge them via USB while using... You have no USB stuff to plug in order to use it

    I prefer Microsoft brand mice.

I recommend Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX for PC and Mac: Electronics. I've got the sister one that requires batteries but I have not had any problems with the mouse and Kubuntu 11.04, so I don't see why it won't work with Ubuntu 11.04!
