If your video chip is really a R350 Radeon 9800 Pro, then it's very likely a AGP video card. AGP architecture predates PCI Express as the Radeon 9700/9800 series is over 8 years old. You need to find out more about the rest of the hardware in the system before you can even consider upgrades. There maybe more pitfalls such that it would be worth it to get a entirely new system.
FYI: I played Wow classic using a Radeon 9800 Pro, but upgraded around 2005 because it was to slow driving a 19" LCD.
