Just a memo to paramvir and foodoo. A heartfelt thank-you for your help. With the way the Linux community is so willing to help one another I'm just so surprised the other OS's have such a huge market share...

I love going to an Indian curry house and ordering:

Chicken Tikka Masala (i like it hot and spicy)
    or even a kai-patel that's nice too
with Pillau rice, coconut naan bread,
lime pickles (achar i think it's called)
and Popadoms with lots of Kingfisher Beer! umm yum yum

Jed - you are most welcome - it is a pleasure when you get to help some one and see the results.

Other OS's - I recall my days gone past - they are shells - and quite frankly very oppressive - I use virtual box if I really need to fix my android phone besides that they're just shells. - that is another forum thread I guess

Once again Paramvir shows his brilliance! The text buffer size once increased to 6500 did the trick.
Now just have some alignment issues to take care of!

Thanks so much guys. I posted a pic of the final product. Just a few aesthetics to take care of with the CoR and the High/Low temps for the day. One of them is showing up in bold. Weird.

Thanks Jed for the kind words - simple trouble shooting

The CoR looking Bold is actually 2 figures over lapping - once you have done the alignment - it should look good

    Re: HOWTO: VinDSL Conky Script

Does anyone know how to get the 'pretty' moon images and the wxicons to work instead of the ones that are showing? Just a thought. They are in the subdirectories and look much nicer than the current ones showing in my last post with the pic of my conky.

    Thanks,
    Jed

    Re: HOWTO: VinDSL Conky Script

    Hi Jed,

If you have those fonts installed and you have updated your font cache you can simply change the name of the fonts being used to those you want to use but i don't know the names of the desired fonts (god that sounds like a right mouthful !) anyway it's those fonts in your template you need to change.

    Sean

Edit: oh sorry my thoughts were else where! they are not fonts they are images!
Do you mean the ones in the sub folder in the temp folder ?
