    |Video output dies during boot

I am currently running 11.4 with no outstanding issues. I downloaded and attempted to run 11.10 Live but during boot I lose the video. It continues to boot but the monitor is black. It never makes it to the first GUI screen. My computer is a HP Pavillion dv6 with AMD A8-3510MX APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics. Will there be a 'fix' soon or will this computer be on the 'incompatibility' list?

I mistyped my current release in my first post. I made the post and am now replying from the HP Pavilion dv6 laptop running 11.4. I am not sure what they did to break the video in 11.10 but I had no issues with viewing the install GUI in 11.04. I have nothing but black monitor as soon as the screen showing the kernel booting clears. It seems that many are having this issue.
