    Question could not download all the repositories error!

    hi, i'm using ubuntu 9.04 jaunty ( i made a fresh installation ryt now) and wen i go to the add/remove it says that the software package list is out of date and it started updating but stopped suddenly and gave the error mentioned in the title. i tried few more servers from synaptic but the same error in the same time. i dont think its a particular server error bcoz not a server is working! plz giv a solution.

    Not sure but maybe Jaunty is oudated?
    Why you has installed Jaunty in first place?
    The actual LTS is 10.04 and the latest release is 11.04 and there is also the yet supported 10.10 version.

    It is outdated, I looked now for it.

    By outdated ivanovnegro means it has reached the end of life and is no longer supported. You can see the various end of life dates at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_...em%29#Releases (I'm sure there is also a reference on the ubuntu wiki).
