    Locales problem in 10.10

    Running locale from terminal gives me:

    Code:
    locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
    locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
    locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
    LANG=en_GB-UTF8
    LC_CTYPE="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_NUMERIC="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_TIME="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_COLLATE="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_MONETARY="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_MESSAGES="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_PAPER="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_NAME="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_ADDRESS="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB-UTF8"
    LC_ALL=en_GB-UTF8
    How can I fix this? I've tried

    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure locale
    but it doesn't work.

    Code:
    perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
    perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
    	LANGUAGE = (unset),
    	LC_ALL = "en_GB-UTF8",
    	LANG = "en_GB-UTF8"
        are supported and installed on your system.
    perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
    locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
    locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory

    /bin/bash: warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_GB-UTF8)

    Also noticed that when I start a terminal:

    Code:
    bash: warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_GB-UTF8): No such file or directory
    So where is the missing directory located?

    Just check that out. Make sure your locale is in the /var/lib/locales/supported.d/local file and then do a dpkg-reconfigure
