Newbie -- Were is the game I installed.

I been installing simple games for my grandson while learning this new operating system (10.10). I just installed a new a game (Kraptor) but I can't locate the icon to launch the game. Not sure why?

Game
Kraptor is a classic shoot 'em up scroller game, where you must fight against tons of bad dudes. The game offers high speed action, with massive destruction and lots of fun. Kraptor features a powerful engine for 2D shooter scroller games.

i would suggest you install kupfer or gnome-do

they have built in search.

also some older games may not provide icons or entries in the menu.

You should be able to launch it from a terminal - type: kraptor <return>

Usually, games installed by Synaptic or any installed are in; "/usr/share/games/what-you-installed/files".
