I'm in the process of installing Oracle Database 11g R2 on an Ubuntu 11.10 server here at work. I'm following this guide from the Oracle support forums. I'm currently in the process of installing all of the dependency packages, one of which is slapd.

When I go to install slapd, I get this error:
(Reading database ... 64726 files and directories currently installed.)

I've been searching around the Web for an answer to these errors, but I just can't seem to find any. Can anyone help? If I'm leaving out any key information, or you'd like to know more about the system I'm running just in case something's getting in the way, I'll be more than happy to supply that information.

Thanks in advance!
