    Bluetooth is very slow.

i purchased an AZiO BTD-V201 USB 2.0 Micro Bluetooth Adapter for my ubuntu 10.10 system and the bluetooth transfer time is very slow. Im trying to tranfer files to my xoom tablet. A 157mb folder is stated to take 1 hour and 30 minutes. Is there anyway that i can speed this up. The device is less than 3 feet from my pc.

This isn't really the type of application bluetooth is designed for. From memory its bitrate is in the order of 700KBps, so 87.5 KiB/s peak. And since it is 2.4 GHz, there may also be a lot of interference from other devices, slowing it down.

I don't remember good transfer speeds for bluetooth on any platform.
