laptop on ubuntu 11.04 refuses to start without being plugged in
Since upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04, 2 days back, I'm not able to start ubuntu with my laptop being plugged in. I'm using a lenovo y560d laptop.
This proves to very inconvenient, as not being able to get my laptop started while being remote.
From the initial google search, it seems like I'm not the only one facing this issue, and this might be related to some bug in kernel 2.6.38.
Can anyone shed some more light on this?
