i was really expecting to not like unity. i thought it would be a waste of a desktop by using an interface designed for netbooks. i cant believe how much i like it. it is really intuitive. i might just keep this a while before switching to gnome 3. what do you guys think?

I like it also. I'm a noob (less than a month of Ubuntu experience), but I prefer Unity to the Gnome desktop in 10.10. I like the fact that I can add things to the launcher and not have to look for it in the system settings. Just scroll to the left of the window click a terminal and add a command, and for a noob like me this is such a help. Never going back to Windows!!! Bill Gates and his cronies can kiss my entire you know the rest!!!!
