but still wanted to know which is the best os in linux.

i jst wanted to try
also can any one let me know the features of ubuntu 11.4
with system requirements, as i have a really very old pc.
becoz i am nt goin to leave ubuntu, as i love ubuntu

Best for what?

Each Linux distro is made with certain purposes in mind. If you want an easy to use and well supported alternative desktop operating system to Windows then Ubuntu is hard to beat. This is why Ubuntu is popular, it caters very well for a very big audience. Many other distros are not trying to or intend to appeal to the average Windows user, Ubuntu on the other hand is.

Just install Ubuntu 10.04.

Then install fluxbox

sudo apt-get install fluxbox

Login using fluxbox.

Write back.

There is no need to leave Ubuntu.

11.04 is great!

Minimum ram is 512gb, I've used a 4gb ssd w/no problems.

You might want to look at Xubuntu.
