    Unhappy synaptic error on Ubuntu 10.10

    Help. I get this error when I open up Synaptic Package Manager.

    E: Type 'n' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-desktop-gnome3-builds-maverick.list
    E: The list of sources could not be read.
    Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
    E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

    This is what I get when I pull up the sources.list via Terminal:

    I did what was suggested and removed the "n" from that source list, and now everything is working again.

    Thanks!!
