    This sounds like it could be a problem with the hard disk drive, but there really is no way to tell for sure without running it from a LiveCD. Does the disk come back healthy in disk utility?

    Disk is ok and recognised as healthy....
    It dual boot with Windows 7 and havent had any problems so far...

    Do these issues happen on all of a system's user accounts, or just one?

    Oddly, I don't recall having any similar crashes since upgrading to Natty.

    I'd keep an eye on it, but for now, I think we can call this fixed in natty.
