    Re: Chromium or Midori?

under the hood, chromium and midori are more alike than different. they both use the webkit engine -- midori is a gtk frontend, while chromium uses an interface developed by google. as you can imagine, the latter has had a wagonload of money thrown at it, and at least for now, is able to do a lot more than midori.

keep your eye on midori, though. its coming along nicely, and i expect to see some pretty aggresive development since its become one of the pet projects of the up-and-coming elementary os.
i keep the latest version of midori installed alongside firefox on all my machines; its fun to mess around with, but in my opinion its still a release or two away from handling the big waves of a full on web surfing session.
worth noting: if you have a good gtk theme and icon set that you really like, midori is gorgeous.

my advice is to do what others on this thread have already recommended -- install them all!

I'm a firefox fan but i'd like to add that google has been overing a good chunk of change for anyone who can hack their browser and so far no one has been able. Security mmmm security <3

I heard that Chromium is a developing and testing ground for Chrome. Chrome takes code from Chromium.

Really. That does sorta make since...everything else tests on Ubuntu.
