Question Wireless internet help, firmware missing.

Hi, I use Ubuntu 10.10, I just installed it yesterday, and I absolutely cannot get the wifi to work.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525, and I installed ubuntu using wubi. Can anyone help me with this problem?

P.S. I am linux and Ubuntu ignorant, so go easy, and nothing to complex, but I know how to use a terminal.

This is the best that I can do at the moment as I am going off-line soon.

As you are using Ubuntu inside Windows make sure that 1) The wireless adapter is switched on from the keyboard. 2) Wireless is not switched off in Windows before you load Ubuntu. Remember, Ubuntu's access to the hardware is through Windows.

    Regards.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
