Remove HP recovery when install Ubuntu

    Hello!
I'am right now installing the Ubuntu 10.10, and I realise then I wan't to remove everything and put Ubuntu as my only OS, but than I remember about my HP Pavilion dv9000 recovery and can I delete it too? I just don't know how important is this HP recovery or is it important only for windows?

P.S Sorry about my English, this is not my native language.
