Question I do not know how to get Duplex printing to do what I want

    Hello,

I am the proud owner of a Brohter MFC8370DN and from Windows, duplex printing does what I expect but from Maverick I get unexpected results. I want to print so that double sided printing is configured to allow stapling on the top left corner and that the left side is used to transition from page to page.

After much tweaking the printer settings I managed to get the sheets to tumble along the top side. After more tweaking it now prints mirrored.

I attach scan of one of my recent print jobs from Maverick

Thumbs down Re: I do not know how to get Duplex printing to do what I want

    Hello,

I have found something that may be relevant.

In Printer properties > Job Options I have found a thingmabob called Duplex Printing and it seems that in DuplexNoTumble it prints double sided.

Then in Job Options I found a checkbox called Mirror and a thingmabob called Sides that has Two-sided(long edge)

    I attach screenshots.
