RSYNC Folders & Options for Full Backup... a little lost :(

Hi,

I'd like to backup my partition as completely as possible. I'm a little lost, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use an encrypted lvm partition running 10.10.

My goal is to be able to restore my partition with rysync from a fresh install. What folders or files should I leave out of a backup? Also, what options should I select for maximum benefits?

You have a encrypted system partition mounted at / ?

What is your device, on which you want to save the backup?

What do you want to do? Why would you want to do that?
