Bluetooth Problem

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 desktop. My bluetooth was working fine. But its not working for last 7 days. Even device is not detected. Can you please help me to solve the problem.

What kind of bluetooth adapter do you have ??

What kind of device are you trying to detect ??

Can the device be seen by other devices ??

Thanks to those who have taken interest on this topic.
However I could solve the problem as follows.
1) Click on Bluetooth Icon on the top panel.
2) Go to Preferences
3) Remove all Devices already exist.
4) Click on Add New Device.
5) Now my phone is detected and I paired them.
The problem is solved.
