    Maximized Window Chasing

I've been able to overlook this for a while since it's only a minor annoyance, but something I've encountered in quite a few programs (Rhythmbox, F-Spot, CCSM) is when I maximize a window, the program dodges my mouse clicks, bumping the window up or down. The only explanation I can think of is that my screen resolution is smaller than the maximized window (Res 1024x600) on a 10.1 inch netbook screen. I'm pretty sure the solution lies somewhere in CCSM, but wouldn't know where to start looking to correct this.

I'm not sure if it helps to mention or not, but I'm using an Asus EeePC 1005ha.

I don't have an answer to your question. However, I know that you can move around a screen in such a situation; hold down the Alt key, and click the mouse anywhere in the window to move it. (If you have changed your keyboard settings, it might be the Super key you need to hold down.)

See if that makes a difference.
