No probs. You need to open the disc and extract the inf and sys files to a folder on your desktop (or somewhere I always use th edesktop for this kind of stuff)
is it a problem if there is only an .inf file, no .sys?
i looked everywhere on the disk.....
it seems to have worked, driver installed......i'll play around a bit more and report back. thanks!
ok, it went, not so well!
the driver was installed, but when
i look at by doing the gksudo ndisgtk,
it has a nice big red x over the icon for the driver, and says "Invalid Driver".
thanks...its definitely the right one for this device. and, the box states it is for windows 7, xp, and vista....
i'll look around a little more and see if i can try something else.
Can I see the full output ofandCode:lspciEdit ->actually can you run and post the wireless-results.txt of the attached script? If you have trouble running it let me know...some people don't like running scripts and if you don't want to thats fine...but there is nothing malicious in the script.Code:lshw -C Network

thanks for your instructions, but i am having trouble.
i have never run a script before, so i read elsewhere on the forum how to do so....but no luck.
here is the thread i used for help:
i saved the file you attached to my desktop first...
if you could let me know how to do this, i would much appreciate it!
