Unfortunately, the KDE network manager doesn't seem to know it. It shows my network as unmanaged. I can't look at settings, networks, or anything.
Code:
user@localhost:~$ iwlist scanning
lo Interface doesn't support scanning.
eth0 Interface doesn't support scanning.
eth1 No scan results
This further reinforces my thought that there's nothing wrong with my hardware, just some sort of disconnect with the software. On a command prompt level, I can see my adapters and connections (although I can't seem to connect via WiFi).
Perhaps it's just the KDE network management system that's having problems. Afterall, the GUI portion of WiFi has just always worked, I've never had to do it at the command prompt.
I am posting this from the machine in question, but via a network connection that KDE doesn't seem to see.
