Ubuntu 10.10 will not reconnect to wireless.

I tried not to start a new thread, but I couldn't find any that were the same situation as mine. I have a new install of 10.10 with a dual boot of win7 on a Toshiba Satillite.

When I first start up ubuntu the WiFi connects to my router instantly. Then after using the internet a while the connection dies. The only way to get it back is to restart my computer. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Ubuntu 10.10 will not reconnect to wireless.

    Hello,

I have the same problem. I have ubuntu 10.10 and vista home edition.
If i start my laptop(dell) with ubuntu then wireless is detected but the connection is disconnected within few mins.
And if I restart and choose to boot with vista no wireless networks are found. However if I shutdown and first start with Vista then wireless is detected without any problems. Also when I restart and start with ubuntu then I wireless works fine.

So the problem is when I start with ubuntu itself during the first time.

    Kindly advice.

    Best regards,
    Guru
