    reset resolution on an applaction

    i was using the applaction dreamchess and wanted to make the game bigger on my laptop but accedently made the game bigger then my laptop screen so the option to change resolution is off the screen. any idea how to fix. i dont mind a compacted fix if thats the case

    Try look for its configuration file/folder in your home directory (hidden). If you delete that file/folder it will reset to default (beware that user changes, saved stuff etc. in dreamchess will be deleted as well).

    If the app in question is called dreamchess, then you would go to your home folder and do Ctrl-H to see your hidden files. Then you would look for a folder called .dreamchess or something similar. If you do not see one, look in the .config folder for it. This applies to all apps with config files.

    Lol oh wow, apparently I really didn't read the first post very well. I need to set a rule for myself: no troubleshooting OR posting while drinking after midinght. Thanks anyway man!
