Are there any updates for Asus U36JC running Ubuntu 12.04?

Thanks for your guide. However, now I have two new problems.

1. My fan goes to high speed upon resume.
2. Without attempting suspend, the mouse and keyboard will freeze (rendering the computer unusable). Often this does not happen for 30 minutes, but it is quite frustrating. The only solution is to do a hard reboot.

Any ideas?

Could you please state your ubuntu installation scenario? This happened on newly installed ubuntu or after installation of new hardware or software?
