trouble installing spotify on wine

i'm trying to install spotify through wine, i have wine downloaded and installed, but when i download the spotify .exe file and try and open it with wine an error message appears saying:

The file '/home/michael/Downloads/Spotify Installer.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit.

any ideas what the problem might be?

never mind it just started working.

when i clicked on it and went into open with i chose the option win core exe, it wasnt there before but it works now.
