Angry 10.4 server - Application/octet-stream; does not recognize img, handles as binary

    Hi,

I'm using php & perl to grab images from a mail account and them move them to a public directory in the /www/ folder. This worked fine on a shared hosting plan we were using for the site while building it, but recently moved over to 10.4 server running on AWS EC2. Problem is I get the following message

#!/usr/bin/php -q still alive 1still alive 2still alive 3Connected to mail.domain.com Logged in to mail.domain.com Message number: 1 from: oscar example.com Message from exmple.com is allowed subject: 198 Found a part that isn't recognized: application/octet-stream; name=10130945a2.jpg my attachment is: body: Testing email popper text (after strip): Testing email popper still alive 4
    198 : : oscar : Testing email popper
    Image width
    Image height
So it's basically getting the image as binary data, but it handles all the other info no problem, i.e. image description etc... . I've looked high and wide, but I haven't a clue as to how to solve this. Please help!

If it was working on the development server and it is not working now then I'd look for missing modules or incompatible php versions between the two machines.

phpinfo might help. Check your logs
