    1080p monitor not displaying resolution over 1680x1050

    Hi.

    I'm using ubuntu 10.10 and have the latest fglrx drivers installed. I just connected my Monitor to my laptop over DisplayPort, and I'm unable to set the resolution of the monitor to anything greater than 1680x1050.

    I'm using a Lenovo W500 laptop. How can I get my monitor to display at max resolution.

    Do you have the ATI Catalyst drivers installed on that computer?
    Treat your password like your toothbrush. Don't let anybody else use it, and get a new one every six months.

    Yes, I have the drivers that the additional drivers dialog downloaded.
