Wierd Boot Ubuntu 10.10 on Toshiba Satellite L300D
I just installed 10.10 on this laptop which was running Vista. Everything went perfectly but anytime I start up I still see the BIOS screen and then am asked for the current password (from Vista) and then the HDD password (also from Vista). After entering the old passwords I get an error (I can post a screen shot if necessary). If I press Ctrl+Alt+Del I get to the Ubuntu recovery screen. When I select the first option (run Ubuntu not in recovery mode) I get into the Ubuntu desktop properly.
I can survive with this workaround but would love to solve the problem and boot properly. Any suggestions?
