    "Places" menu

    I removed the "places" menu on the right hand side of the gnome windows.

    How do I get it back?

    Try right clicking the top panel, select add to panel, find the "menu bar", then add that to the panel
    LinuxCommands -- Grub2 -- Ubuntu Security -- fstab -- crontab

    If you it is only the places menu try System > Preferences > Main Munu and add it there. That is if the other menus are still there .
