Pitivi in Maverick

Hi. I didn't find such a problem anywhere on the net, so decided to post it. The problem is that Pitivi is not allowing me to use the 'cut' button as explained in this link here:

Even after adding the clip to the timeline, my Pitivi doesn't activate the timeline toolbar buttons. Here's a screenshot:



Please help me. This is an e-do or e-die situation.

From what I can see in your screenshot, you have not selected the clips in the timeline. You need to do that (by clicking it) first.

Refer to the pitivi user manual for further information on how splitting (and other things) works: http://www.pitivi.org/manual

You may want to ask questions in launchpad (or filing bugs) rather than the forums.
