Question How to sync via FTP between Ubuntu, Mac and Off-site server

    Hello,

I've got two computers (one Ubuntu and one mac) and I want to have a backup solution and simultaneously sync my files between my computers. For this I want to set up some kind of sync between Ubuntu and an off-site server (hostgator), and between my mac and the off site server. It should be two way syncing so that when I add files on my Ubuntu machine, they will be synced to my server and from there to my mac again. Basically a dropbox solution, but then on my own server.

Does anybody know what kind of program I can use for this (working on both Ubuntu and mac)?

You could look into making an rsync script
