I want to install ubuntu 10.10 with updates and third-party software but the problem is that I use my university’s internet which acquires proxy and authentication so, is there any way to do that?

In this case I would say,install it with out the updates, and you can do the update later.And if you are installing Ubuntu 10.10 third party plug ins like mp3 codec's don't need Internet to be installed the are on the CD. If you want them to be installed all you have to do is check the box that says 'Install Third Party.....' and proceed with the installation.

thank you very much my concern was the third-party software but now that I know it was in the cd (thanx to u) I'm done thank you very much
but even with that, I still want to know if there is a way to install it with the updates or not?

In the case a distribution update , example: 10.04 to 10.04.1 the updates are included with the downloaded ISO . Other updates are not and will have to be installed post installation.
