    I paid hundreds of dollars for my phone. If I want root access I'll take it, thank you. I'm not 'shafting' any user that CHOOSES not to and neither are any other individuals who CHOOSE to jailbreak or root THEIR devices.

    As for the original post, that is a very resourceful solution thank you for sharing it

    Jeez, you definitely don't want to be that guys friend if you have a stolen and jail broken phone with a pirated copy of flash installed on it.

    1) Jail breaking your iphone or other device is legal in the US.

    2) If you do jail break your iphone or other device, then your warranty is voided.

    It's also super annoying to even try to root / jailbreak the phone I have: Droid X

    Can't even get past step one: Set up ADB, since I don't know how.
