How to update flash-player

All i want to do is update adobe flash player to 10.2. I been trying to do so for a while, i have tried using the terminal by using.

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

But that hasn't worked. I am a complete newbie at ubuntu and i want to know if i have been using the wrong code or if there is just something that i am not doing.
Please help.

I always got flash by adding the repository through Ubuntu Tweak. Then all you need to type is:

sudo apt-get upgrade
