    Print server (SPOOLING ONLY)

    Hi guys,

I need some help with this subject.
My needs are simple. Attach 2 printers to ubuntu box and print to it from windows machines.
Both printers are HP and there are some drivers but I would like ubuntu box to act only as print spooler. Printer drivers and document formating is done on a windows box.
Is something like this possible ? I have read something on this subject but I cannot remember where and how to look for it.

    Thanks

It is possible to disable spooling in Win XP or Ubuntu . There is a catch , spooling allows the print job stored in a buffer until the device is ready .

I don't know if a print job initiated in Win XP would use the the Ubuntu spooler (for lack of a better way to phase it) Here are some links from my search.
