In nautilus you usually rename files by highlighting the file and press F2. A second click on a file would not go to rename as in Explorer on Windows.

I know this. I want to rename files by two clicks as in Windows. I've seen gnome-OSs with such possibility. I'd like to make so in my laptop, but noone know how. So, I ask help here.

Are you sure that's nautilus, when using gconf-editor I can't find anything related to that.

Maybe it's kde or thunar that you see before?

    No, It's GNOME. It's nautilus. I'm sure.
I could miss this key in gconf. Where it must be?
