I've installed Ubuntu on a Toshiba Satellite A305D-SP6803R which has a 64-bit AMD processor. The only problem it has given me is that the fan doesn't reduces it's speed once the processor has reached certain temperature.

I've already tried a lot of solutions that I found on forums such as installing the toshset and toshutils packages (this was useless) or modprobe toshiba to install the toshiba acpi drivers, which tells me that toshiba.ko doesn't exist. I don't know what's going on and I would really like to set this up because it's the only hardware or software issue that I'm facing.
