I am trying to implement a "special" kiosk machine using an Acer Aspire One netbook. The idea is to press a special USB based external button, which plays back a Video in Full Screen.
Once this video playback has finished, the netbook can continue to playback something else in a loop.
I have thought about installing Ubuntu or Ubuntu Netbook Remix on it, and run a script to automate the above mentioned objectives in a controlled mode.
Now this appears to a simple project, if someone can point me to some help .. Thanks for reading.
