    Unhappy strange boot

    Hello everyone!
I am having problems with ubuntu right now. My PC requires 32 seconds until it shows the GDM. After 1:32 Minutes (in total) ubuntu is ready for usage. During the boot Ubuntu shows the following message: "[ 17.570020] Intel lps 0000:00:1f . 6 failed to get i915 symbols, graphics turbo disabled" (my graphics acceleration works without any problems). I am not sure if this has to do with the boot but sometimes thee GTK window decorator won't start. I think this happened after playing a bit with the advanced Compiz settings manager.

Does anybody know a solution to this? I searched the web already but I couldn't find anything helpful myself. Would it help to reinstall Ubuntu? Help would be appreciated.
