Fluxbox -- Transparent XPad? Or running GNOME Sticky Notes?

Is it possible to do transparent XPads in Fluxbox? I know there must be a way, but it is not under any of the menus in the window, nor does it show up as a command line option.

On a side note, is it possible to run the GNOME Sticky Notes in Fluxbox without having to run gnome-panel? One small panel is enough for me.
